KANCHAN PANTA

Dr. Kanchan Panta currently works as a Sr. Principal Cyber Engineer at Raytheon Company. Before working at Raytheon, Dr. Panta served in the United States Army and worked for Booz Allen Hamilton and Harris corporation in the cybersecurity field in various capacities.

Dr. Panta received a Doctor of Science majoring in Cybersecurity from Colorado Technical University. In addition, Dr. Panta earned his undergraduate degree, majoring in Programming in 2010. He received his Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity from Regis University in 2017, Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Regis University in 2016, and MS in Information System Engineering from Western International University in 2014.

Dr. Panta’s research interest is in the Internet of Things (IoT), ranging from theory to design to implementation in daily life. His teaching interests include cybersecurity and networking. He also taught networking and cybersecurity classes at the Colorado Technical University and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.

Dr. Panta resides with his wife and two sons in Colorado Springs. Dr. Panta enjoys watching and playing soccer, gardening, and enjoying good food. He likes to travel to different parts of the world and explore authentic cuisine.
