All decisions regarding scholarships made by ECCU’s Scholarship Committee are final and cannot be overturned.

Applicants must be current residents of the U.S. state of New Mexico and provide proof of continuous residency in New Mexico for the past 12 consecutive months.

An application implies no guarantee of a scholarship award.

Applicants will receive a deduction of $2,500 on the overall tuition fee if the scholarship is awarded.

This scholarship is not intended to cover all educational expenses and will be limited only to the tuition fee.

How do I maintain this cyber security scholarship from term to term? 

To maintain the scholarship from term to term, recipients must meet ECCU’s Criteria for Maintaining Continual Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as delineated in the ECCU Catalog. If a recipient does not maintain SAP, the scholarship will no longer be awarded. Once the student is no longer on academic probation, the scholarship will be reinstated. 

No, this cyber security scholarship is reserved for students who are residents of New Mexico. Applicants must provide proof of residency documents that prove they have resided in New Mexico for the past 12 consecutive months. 

Scholarships granted by EC-Council University are non-transferable and are only applicable to the recipient. 

Upon confirmation of your enrollment in an ECCU program and fulfillment of all admission-related requirements, your eligibility for this scholarship will be determined by our Scholarship Committee. If eligible, your scholarship will be granted before the program commences.

Except for Non-Degree Courses (NDS), this cyber security scholarship can be available when you join any other ECCU program (bachelor’s, master’s, and graduate certificate programs). 

Yes, scholarships may be canceled/rescinded if a student fails to pay the remaining tuition fees in a timely manner, fails to maintain an acceptable level of academic performance, fails to meet basic attendance requirements, is deemed to display improper/unethical conduct, or provides incorrect/fraudulent information or documentation at the time of enrollment. 

No, this scholarship is exclusively reserved for students living in the U.S. state of New Mexico.
