Mapping ECCU
Courses to Certifications

An Overview of EC-Council Cybersecurity Certifications That Correspond to EC-Council University Courses

What You Should Know

Many of the core courses in EC-Council University’s (ECCU) online degree-level programs reflect the knowledge requirements for EC-Council cybersecurity certifications.

Once you have completed and passed a corresponding ECCU course, you will be eligible to test for the EC-Council certification.

It’s important to note that:

You must pass the certification test to achieve the cybersecurity certification.

Receiving a passing grade in the ECCU course does NOT ensure that you will also pass the certification exam.

While passing the ECCU course waives the educational requirements, you will still have to cover the cost of the certification exam.
