Dr. Edward “Alan” Rodarte is an experienced educator and business leader based in San Antonio, Texas. He serves as an adjunct faculty member, where he is passionate about guiding students on their educational journey, fostering collaboration, and creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.

He later completed his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Walden University in 2021.
With over 17 years of experience at USAA—a leading provider of insurance, banking, and investment products for the military community—Dr. Rodarte has led numerous initiatives in member experience, enterprise digital, and insurance product development and innovation. He has also taught as an adjunct professor for eight years, specializing in digital marketing, leadership, and management. He enjoys connecting real-world industry experience with academic concepts to help students apply practical insights to their studies.
Outside of his professional career, Dr. Rodarte and his wife of 15 years enjoy traveling to sunny destinations, spending time outdoors, and caring for their two daughters, Bryn Starr (13) and Blaire Sky (10), along with their three dogs.
Dr. Rodarte is known for his approachable teaching style and commitment to fostering a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged to share their perspectives and explore new ideas.
