Pedro Nunes Oliveira Machado, Data Protection Officer, Ageas Portugal Group
Bio: Pedro Nunes Oliveira Machado is a country senior director serving as Data Protection Officer (DPO) at Ageas Portugal Group and, more recently, as Group Information Security Officer at the Ageas Group’s international headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
He is pursuing a PhD in Engineering and Management at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, where he completed a Master’s in Information and Business Systems. He also holds a Master’s in International Business Administration and Management from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, an MBA, and degrees in Computer Science and Multimedia Engineering.
Pedro completed the Leadership for Senior Executives program at Harvard Business School. He is a member of the EU CyberNet expert pool, a member of the EFAMA Cyber Resilience Working Group, Chairperson of APFIPP’s AML/CTF and Data Protection Working Group, and President of AEPD’s General Assembly.
