Dr. Roxanne Kemp holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, and a doctor of philosophy in technology from Capitol Technology University in Laurel, Maryland. Dr. Kemp has also completed a graduate program in educational leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX, and doctoral studies in general psychology from Capella University and doctoral studies in business at the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Kemp is a Certified Accessibility Specialist with the Texas Distance Learning Association (TxDLA) and a Certified Blackboard Learn Course Delivery Administrator with Blackboard Incorporated. Dr. Kemp currently serves as the Dean and Chief Academic Leader for EC-Council University and as a consultant and professor to several universities. Dr. Kemp is an advocate for quality education and for helping educational institutions better serve students through technology and enhanced learning. Before a career in education, Dr. Kemp served in the United States Army as a communications specialist and later pursued a career in software and technology sales, working for several Fortune 500 companies. Since embarking on a career in education, Dr. Kemp has served at multiple levels of educational leadership, in roles such as chief academic officer, dean, director, campus director, and academic coordinator.
