I would like to mention that in 2014, ECCU announced and hacking scholarship competition. I participated there and got a full scholarship from the university and completed my Master’s Degree. I want to thank ECCU Management, administrative staff, and teachers who guided me through this process.
My journey at ECCU was excellent. My Academic Advisor, Viviantie Sarjuni, effectively encouraged and helped me completed my admission. The ECCU Master of Science in Cyber Security (MSCS) program has given me a broader perspective and greater insights into the best practices. The MSCS program is designed in such a way, where theoretical study, practical labs, as well as research skills can be improved. By applying what I learned through the MSCS program, I have improved the information security process in my area of work. Networking with fellow students from different areas of the world also helped me improve cross-cultural knowledge and communication skills and also allowed me to gain from their experiences and ideas. The ECCU teaching methodology helped me improve my skillset and resolve problems faster.
The ECCU curriculum helped me develop a skillset in every field of security, i.e., VAPT, Forensic Investigation, Security Operation Management, Threat Intelligence; it also helped build my confidence so I can face and handle every aspect of cybersecurity and work in a team environment.
